Hello, I am Chelsea Agans, creator of The Zen Gaia. I am a happily married wife of my high school sweetheart, a full time employee, and a part time student. In my free time, I love to garden and learn as much as I can about holistic lifestyles, eco-friendly products, and self-sustainability. We have a few green beans showing up on our plants!

Capulin Volcano, an extinct volcano located in New Mexico. This is the first volcano I’ve ever seen with my own eyes.

Driving into Colorado, as a place you have never been, is such an awe inspiring experience. I am accustomed to mostly flat land around the Gulf of Mexico. This was a whole other world up in the mountains.

Harvest of our hot banana peppers. We had so many and there are so many more growing!

Following the tragic loss of my father-in-law, we have acquired a new addition to our garden, a greenhouse. My husband has gotten it built so we can start gardening year round. It also provides shelter to our spring/summer plants during the winter. I’m excited to use this final gift from him.

Chickies update: they have moved into their new house and are loving it. They spend all of the daytime outside, running around, dust bathing, and doing chicken things. I mean, what more could you ask for?
